Fishing Days in the Florida Keys

Hi there & Welcome to "the Fishing Blog"
We're going to be putting up some fishing news for the Keys & Tournament postings .

"Seriously, this is the best time for billfish along the reef and just offshore. Tailing conditions look very possible for sailfish this weekend with the forecast.

There have been numerous sails throughout the Florida Keys region along with good action from early kings and mackerel. Some day’s conditions are right in the mornings and on others, it has paid off to await the afternoon set for the best bite.

New Marathon fishing report

Take a ride on the flats areas and bridge channels around Marathon and you will see that tarpon fishing is still alive and well! During the day either offshore or backcountry fishing or both will be highlighted for spectacular fishing!!

Dolphin offshore have been plentiful. The hottest areas have been around 12 miles from the reef. This has been good for days and days with plenty of large school dolphin in the 5 to 9 pound range. There have been scattering of big fish as well. Wahoo have been running fairly well along the 300-foot range for those with fast trolled lures.   ..... more Marathon fishing report
