Hi there & Welcome to "the Fishing Blog"
We're going to be putting up some fishing news for the Keys & Tournament postings .

"Seriously, this is the best time for billfish along the reef and just offshore. Tailing conditions look very possible for sailfish this weekend with the forecast.

There have been numerous sails throughout the Florida Keys region along with good action from early kings and mackerel. Some day’s conditions are right in the mornings and on others, it has paid off to await the afternoon set for the best bite.

New Marathon fishing Report

     It's tarpon time!  Without a doubt, it's one of my favorite times of the year.  These monsters are tougher than most of the available action figures.  They will bust tackle more than any species that I know of.  (Now I know why I like them so much.  They're part of my retirement plan.)

 

     Marlin, sailfish, big tunas, big dolphin and other larger fish are mostly offshore and weather conditions dictate the opportunity to go after them.  Tarpon are right here, literally in your back yard.  The area bridge channels will become loaded as well as many canals in the Keys.  .......
